REMEDY is a website dedicated to disseminating information on the activities supported by the Acadèmia d'Excel·lència award granted to Prof. José A Jiménez under the 2025 call (2025 ICREA 00154). The award spans a five-year period, from January 2026 to December 2030.
The Acadèmia de Excel·lència programme (formerly known as ICREA Acadèmia) is a prestigious research award funded by the Government of Catalonia through the Agency for Administration of University and Research Grants (AGAUR).
The programme is designed to recognize, support, and retain outstanding scientific talent within the Catalan public university system.
It is aimed at permanent university faculty members who are actively engaged in research and demonstrate exceptional scientific achievement and leadership. By providing additional resources and reducing teaching and administrative commitments, the programme enables awardees to devote more time to conducting high-impact research and advancing their academic careers.
